About the canoe
The side panels and
wulegesesek (plural of
wulegessis) or deck flaps on this 18-foot canoe are etched with a stylized double-curve. The detail shots of the gunwales show its recessed gunwale lashings, which allow a flush fit of the gunwale caps. Inside beam 30”, depth 11 1/2”
